We began our adventure raising KuneKunes in 2013. After researching the breed, we decided they were the perfect addition to our ranch. Because we have a large amount of pasture not being grazed, land is abundant. KuneKunes can be raised on pasture alone. Our precious pigs are free range, living on grassy land with unlimited grazing, supplemented with feed and garden vegetables. One of the main reasons we decided to breed these particular animals is because, unlike most pigs, KuneKunes are not hard on fences, and they do not tear up fields because they are grazers, not rooters. We came to understand what an awesome breed they truly are. These are the most friendly and social animals that we have on our ranch. They love attention, especially belly rubs.
We are proud members of both the American Kunekune Pig Registry (AKPR) and the American KuneKune Pig Society (AKKPS).
